4th of July 09

we started out the week-end at Hale Theaters performance of Hello Dolly.
it was delightful and i would recommend it.

then we decided on a spur of the moment trip to St. George

where we....

played in the pool,
enjoyed a barbecue,


drove the golf cart
and chased cottontails and jackrabbits


then it was off to the Tuacahn Theater
for a little
Bull Riding
A splendid show
Footloose
which was so much fun to watch.
the main guy, Ren, was a So You Think You Can Dance star!

we thoroughly enjoyed the play
even though at 9 and 10 o'clock at night it was so very warm.
those frozen lemonade treats really help to cool you down
make sure you get one if you go,
without them the air was so thick it practically sucks the oxygen out of your mouth...

the night ended with a fireworks show,
of course!

it was a fun little holiday get away.
