holy heck. we're doomed.

I hope Sue is kidding.

The standards of American servitude in politics is reaching all time lows. I heard that Alec Baldwin is considering running for the Gov. of Ohio. He first had to look up where Ohio was. That isn't true about the looking it up, but when was the last time he was there. Come on.

I'm gonna take Sue's comment as dripping with sarcasm because that's the only way someone could actually say that.

Just more proof that you don't really have to know what you're doing to get elected.

Yep, there are a lot of Sad things all around us. My children and grandchildren are in good health though, and I have enough food in my house to make it till Friday. (some people don't have that.)
Those are some "happy" things.
Politics, lawyers, and the NEWS Media, piss me off.

And yes, my heart sank just that.much.more.

sue, aka, anonymous
IS serious.....
she likes to keep things real around here and offer her opposing opinion.
her voice is, most often, welcome here.

here's what I think:

i think we are in the beginning stages of the end-
that we are in a downward slope, sliding fast.
that we are outnumbered.

that those who are informed, yet, still have no problem with obama, franken, pelosi, and reed, just don't give a darn about ethics or integrity.
this speaks volumes for where we stand today.
these people are ruthless and are the ones with the power, working the system in such a way were they have all the power...
the power to run out the palins, colemans and romneys, joe the plumbers and God Loving people of this country...

they show no shame, take no prisoners and exhibit no mercy or boundaries in their tactics.

and these people will win...
for awhile....we know how it ends....and we ARE on the right side and it is good and right that we continue to voice our thoughts and opinions and fight for the constitution for as long as we can.
but, it's going to be a real rough ride;
so hold on tight.

i'll have to admit this 4th of july as we all celebrated independence day, my heart ached for the direction we are going and how different a place this already is going to be as my kids continue to grow up and my grandchildren.

just my thoughts...

I kinda figured Anonymous was female. But I think you hit it right on, we can't quit fighting and I hope to heck Palin quit for all the reasons she eloquently listed.

I don't know if I can stand being disappointed AGAIN.

Pedaling said...

jen,
i think palin quit for all the right reasons,
just as she said.
she did the right thing.
again.

you know if your down syndrome son is smeared with his face distorted all over the internet;
your innocent teenage daughter torn apart and called names on a popular late night show and false accusations constantly being ruthlessly thrown at you...in so much that your legal bills continue to mount....harm your family....etc.
well, then holy crap,
there comes a time
to do
just as she did.

i dig sarah palin
always have!

the more mud slung her way
the more dear to my heart she became!

God used his prophet Daniel to write down a prophecy that would be understood and full filled during the time of the end, or the last days. -Daniel 12:9, 10

Daniel's final words urge us to keep on the watch or in expectation- Daniel 12:12. Why? Because they are for our day, we are living in the last days.

Read it carefully. What do the beasts of Daniel's prophecy represent? Will man's rule solve mankind's problems, or will we need intervention from a different source? -Daniel 2:44.

We are instructed to "look intently at" Christ Jesus. He is our model, for us to follow his steps closely. What did he say and do regarding the politics of his day? -Hebrews 12:2; 1 Peter 2:21; John 18:36;(compare Daniel 7:13,14.)
