so many things to be thankful for on a daily basis,
i think about them all the time.
it has been more recently that i've been able to find blessings
in the adversities of life.
i don't think i'm to the point where i can actually say ~ bring it on ~
but i understand the depth and growth that comes through the difficult times
and i am learning to be thankful for those events.
i see how they make me better.
this month has been a good one.
sometimes we just have to take it month by month
or even day by day.
but we take it and we learn and grow. we develop depth and character along the way
and we rely on the lord.
my heart is bursting with love
with much to feel pretty darn good about.
i hope your thanksgiving was a happy one- a time to reflect and to loVe, to strengthen those family bonds, to overeat, to laugh, & pray, and to give much ThaNks.

Looks like a had a good Arizona trip.
ReplyDeleteYes, a lot to be thankful for.
As hard as this year was, with almost losing Luvpilot and then his six months of not being able to work, I can honestly say I am thankful for that trial and all of the blessings that came during it. But I was just thinking after your comment on my blog that I'm not ready to say "bring it on" to another trial though. But I did learn that I can do hard stuff, with the Lord's help.
ReplyDeleteAh yes trials, well at least we have family who can always make us laugh or give a smile when needed.
ReplyDeleteThanks again for letting me try running with you. One of the best mornings I've had in a little while. It was nice outside and it was light (I've been jogging around 5 a.m. lately). And the conversation, of course, welcomed. Maybe it was good that Dan deleted all my music on my iPod after all.

This year has most def had more than it's share of trials at our house, most of which I am still coming to terms with, but I love the fact that in another month Christmas will be over and I have the chance to start a whole new 2012
