I was very gratifided that our local schools districts here in n. Idaho participated in Veteran's Day programs such as this. It would be interesting to see the percentage of districts across the country that celebrated, complete with saluting the flag and singing patiotic songs, vs. those who didn't. I have a strong feeling that we are NOT in the minority the way the national news manipulates us to feel. What do you think?

Ahhh, you made me cry in the middle of the afternoon (not that it takes much). This reminds me of a program here that welcomes home the troops every Friday at the DFW airport. I'm going to set a date to go for sure and then I'll blog it. Well done, patriot!

Just beautiful!
It seems the last couple times I have been at the airport for a missionary homecoming I have also seen service men and women coming home and though no clapping has happened there are always big smiles and it gets quiet as if in reverent thanks.
