It's Official

I dug through my dresser drawer,  pulled out my Mitt shirt, grabbed a flag,
 and celebrated the announcement.

I can only think of one other candidate
whom I'd support as strongly as Mitt Romney.

I just want the one who can win.
I've never before had the dilemma of having to pick between 2 in the primary;
two that I like equally,
two that I feel strongly about.

I feel good about Michele Bachmann:
Real good.  I can't think of anything I don't like about her.

  Michele or Mitt?
Who can most likely beat Obama?

In all honesty, between the two, I think I'd like to see Mitt as our next president.
He'd be every bit our next Reagan.

But something inside keeps saying that maybe Bachmann has a better chance at winning.
 I really don't know.

Anyway, for today,
I'm just rejoicing in Mitt's announcement.

Go Mitt, Go!

  1. I'm one who is not sold on Mitt AT ALL. If he's our nominee, I will vote for him. And he may be a good President... BUT--I'd choose Bachman in a heartbeat... Just my opinion RIGHT NOW.

    Betsy

  3. I'm on the fence with Mitt. I'm a little worried about his whole healthcare thing in Mass. Time will tell.

  4. I voted for Mitt in the 2008 primary. I liked him. I still do. But I have pretty big concerns about his healthcare policy put into place in Massachusetts. Are you concerned about that part?

What do you think about Rick Perry possibly running? That is interesting to me.

  6. Good choice. I need to learn more about Bachman.

and for the critics, if you don't like States managing healthcare, wait till the federal government tries to mandate your health needs.

  7. Romney/Bachmann 2012.

I think many women will be drawn to Bachmann, some men. I also think Bachmann gave the best answer on Hannity the other night when asked about running against other GOP contenders she said, "I'm running against Barack Obama."

Way to cut through the crap, Michelle!

    I say:
Romney said he would repeal healthcare if elected. He also said upon getting in the white house he would immediately grant waivers to all 50 states.
    I believe him.
He was the governor of Mass. He governed according to his state. No I have no concerns about that. It's not even comparable or close to what Obama has done. If you want more info on his plan vs Romney's I can lead you to it.

    I love Rick Perry.
But, I still would vote Mitt over him, for many reasons other than simply political.
We gotta play the game a little - or we won't win.
Mitt is presidential (not that Perry isn't) but there's no mistake made in Romney's intelligence. He will kill Obama in the debates. He has the look. He has the resume in getting back on track financially--He listens. Just a few reasons it's Mitt over most other viable contenders.

  12. Now that I live in Canada...and actually rarely watch any news....I don't get inundated with all the political stuff.
I wonder how he will do. I, personally, think he'd be awesome....but I WONDER if his LDS status will cause him some flack.
I kinda hate the church being put on the chopping block during a political campaign.
BUT...hey, we must step up and do what we can for the betterment of our country.

  13. I'm not a fan of Mitt. He's too big government for me. I think Bachmann would be a great choice.

  15. What's the deal with Romney's latest environmental comments? The best spin he could use is just come out and say that they tried universal health care in Mass and that it DIDN'T work. Perry's got his pros and cons as well having been the longest serving Gov in TX history. Personally I'm stoked about Bachman. What are your thoughts on Huntsman?

  16. I don't know what the deal with the latest environmental comments.
I just know that he can put the economy back on track and will repeal Obamacare.
But, so can Bachmann. I can see why many like her over Romney. She's a tea party favorite and a true conservative.
I don't care for Huntsman. I just don't get a good vibe from him. Don't trust him and he IS an environmentalist. To me he's a McCain Jr.
